The Densah Bur technology is based on a biomechanical bone preparation technique called osseodensification. This technology is is a method for preparing the jaw bone to receive a dental implant. Traditional methods can be rough on the jaw bone. With this technology, the drill is rotated in a reversed, non-cutting direction.

Densah Burs are proprietary surgical instruments that offer clinicians versatility during surgery. During the osseodensification technique, surgeons increase the bur diameters in sequence in a counterclockwise direction (800 to 1,500 rpm), which allows the expansion of a cylindrical osteotomy without excavating any bone tissue (Densifying Mode).

Densah® Bur Marking Densah® Burs are externally irrigated and designed to be used at drill speeds of 800-1500 rpm. They are marked with laser markings from 8-20 mm depth. Densah® Burs have a tapered geometry; catalog number is a reflection of their minor and major diameter dimension. E.g., Densah® Bur VT3848 has a tip diameter of 3.8 mm and ...

Densah® Burs use advanced, patent-pending technology to prepare an implant site using either a Densifying Mode or a Cutting Mode. Benefits The full Densah Bur Kit is the best value for your practice if you use multiple implant systems. These burs use external irrigation and are compatible with all traditionally sized implants leaving you with ...

The course emphasizes the clinical applications of Osseodensification, particularly using the Densah® Bur Technology. Participants will explore the Compaction Autografting technique, delve into the Densification Guide suitable for any implant system, and learn site optimization techniques with the Densah® Bur to enhance implant stability.

Densah® bur's patented Design and Mechanism (Rounding & Sliding) makes no fear of tearing the sinus membrane as the bur pushes the bone. Also minimizes the need for bone graft because there is no loss of the bone itself. It can also be useful when expanding Narrow Ridge by increasing bone density and expanding bone width.

Densah Burs use advanced, patent-pending technology to prepare an implant site using either a Densifying Mode or a Cutting Mode. In the Densifying Mode, the Bur is rotated in a high-speed non-cutting counterclockwise (CCW) direction (osseodensification). In the Cutting Mode, the Bur is rotated in a clockwise (CW) direction to precisely cut bone ...

"Versah® Densah® burs have allowed me to offer patients in my clinical practice with improved treatment protocols with confidence. Stability in immediate placement, ridge expansion and crestal sinus grafting has increased my patients acceptance, and satisfaction while reducing complications and stress.

The Universal Densah Bur Kit including Short Densah Burs is the best value for your practice if you use multiple implant systems. These burs use external irrigation and are compatible with all available sized implants up to 6.0 leaving you with the flexibility to do more with less.
